02Acceptance of Terms

By browsing this website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from us. By placing an order you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into a binding agreement.

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon being published. Your continued use of the website after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

03Products & Descriptions

We do our best to accurately represent every product. A few things worth noting:

• Colours and finishes: Screen colours may differ slightly from the physical product due to monitor calibration and natural material variation. This is not a defect.
• Natural materials: We use solid hardwoods, genuine leathers, and natural fabrics. Grain patterns, texture, and colour variation are inherent to these materials and part of what makes each piece unique.
• Dimensions: All dimensions are approximate to the nearest centimetre. Minor variations of up to 2 cm may occur in production.
• Availability: All products are subject to stock. We reserve the right to discontinue any product without notice.
• Errors: If we find a pricing or description error after your order is placed, we will contact you and offer the option to proceed at the corrected terms or receive a full refund.

04Pricing & Payment

All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT at the applicable rate unless stated otherwise. The price you are charged is the price shown at the time you complete your order.

We accept credit and debit card (Visa, Mastercard), instant EFT, and manual bank transfer. Please contact us to arrange an EFT — your order will be held for 48 hours pending payment clearance.

Full payment is due at checkout. For custom orders, a 50% deposit is required to begin production — the balance is due before delivery.

05Orders & Confirmation

Adding items to your cart is not a confirmed order. An order is only confirmed once you complete checkout, payment clears, and you receive a written confirmation from us by email.

We reserve the right to cancel any order due to stock issues, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or delivery limitations. A full refund will be issued in any such case.

To cancel or amend a standard order, contact us before dispatch at info@veetaedohome.co.za or WhatsApp 068 008 1390. Once dispatched, our returns policy applies.

06Custom & Bespoke Orders

We build furniture to your exact specifications. The following applies to all custom orders:

Slight variation from approved specs that is a natural result of handcrafting with solid materials does not constitute a defect.

07Delivery & Shipping

We deliver across South Africa. Remote or farm addresses may carry additional charges — please confirm with us before ordering. Delivery fees and estimated timeframes are shown at checkout.

Type	Details
Standard	Nationwide via our logistics partners. 5–10 business days for in-stock items after payment clears.
Large items	Sofas, beds, and dining tables may need a dedicated vehicle. This will be confirmed when your order is processed.
Re-delivery	Someone must be available at the agreed delivery time. Re-delivery fees may apply if no one is present.

Risk passes to you on delivery. Inspect your order immediately — any damage must be noted on the delivery document and reported to us with photographs within 48 hours. Claims outside this window cannot be accepted.

08Returns & Refunds

Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 apply to all purchases.

5-day cooling-off (online purchases): You may return any online purchase within 5 business days of receiving it, without reason, provided the item is unused, unassembled, and in its original packaging. You cover return shipping costs. Refunds are processed within 30 days of receiving the returned item. Custom orders are excluded.

Defective goods: If your item arrives defective or doesn't match its description, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or full refund. Contact us within 6 months of delivery with your order number and photographs.

Normal wear and tear, misuse, and failure to follow care instructions are not covered.

09Warranties

Every Veetaedo piece is built to last. We warrant our products against manufacturing defects as follows:

Fabric & leather	6 Months	Stitching failures and material separation — not fading or wear
Custom & bespoke pieces	1 Year	Same as the equivalent category above

Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, cleaning damage, sun fading, pests, moisture, or products that have been resold. Warranties apply to the original purchaser only. To make a claim, email info@veetaedohome.co.za with proof of purchase and photographs.

10Intellectual Property

All content on this website — photography, copy, designs, logos, and the overall look and feel — belongs to Veetaedo Home (Pty) Ltd. You may not reproduce or use any of it without our written permission.

Furniture designs produced by us remain our intellectual property unless agreed otherwise in writing. We reserve the right to photograph and share completed custom pieces for portfolio and marketing purposes.

11Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veetaedo Home is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of our website or products. Our total liability for any order is capped at the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing here limits liability for personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under South African consumer law.

12Website Use

You may only use this website for lawful purposes. You must not attempt unauthorised access, introduce malware, use automated scraping tools, or misrepresent your identity. We may suspend access to any user in breach of these terms.

13Governing Law

These terms are governed by South African law. Disputes that can't be resolved directly with us may be referred to the National Consumer Commission at thencc.gov.za. We always prefer to sort things out quickly and directly — please reach out first.
